Metabase is looking for our first Go To Market Engineer to support our Sales team. This is a hybrid role that blends Revenue Operations, GTM systems, and hands on experimentation. If you’re someone who loves working with Sales teams, building processes, and running experiments, we’d love to chat with you. In this role, you’ll design plays, not just executed pre-designed plays. You’ll test new messaging, channels, and signals, then turn your insights into scalable documented playbooks. Your work will directly influence how our team reaches the right companies, at the right time, with the right messaging. You’ll also become a co-owner of our GTM tooling: Clay, Unify, CommonRoom, Salesforce, Zapier, etc. Part of your job will be ensuring these tools speak with each other, and we can measure what’s working (and what isn’t) without friction.
Job Responsibility:
Build, iterate, and operationalize outbound plays that drive Sales pipeline
Run experiments across messaging, channels, and signals
Analyze results, summarize insights, and translate findings into scalable and documented playbooks
Manage systems: Clay, Unify, CommonRoom, Salesforce, Zapier, etc.
Help us identify intent signals across our channels and turn them into actionable outbound plays
Requirements:
Ability to design and build outbound plays end to end - including messaging, targeting logic, triggers, and defining channels
Experience in creating repeatable outbound playbooks
Hands on experience generating sales pipeline through outbound outreach or experiments
Comfortable working with GTM tools like Salesforce, Unify, Clay, etc.
Familiar with Salesforce and basic admin skills
Ability to stitch together data from various tools
What we offer:
Flexibility (define your own schedule and work from wherever you want)
Autonomy
Environment that fosters growth, learning, and development
