Job Description:

Exciting opportunity for a Go/Java Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of secure software supply chains and advocate for engineering excellence within Citi. The role emphasizes expertise in modern software engineering, inclusion, and collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop solutions to secure the software supply chain for thousands of developers
contribute to the security and reliability of software products
advocate for modern software development practices with an emphasis on privacy and security
incorporate DevSecOps and SRE best practices
help teams navigate complex security and risk requirements
design secure, resilient, and scalable solutions
integrate security best practices into developers' workflows
stay updated on trends and technologies in supply chain security.

Requirements:

Expert software engineer with sound engineering principles
bias towards cloud-native, 12-factor applications
good understanding of modern CI/CD toolsets
solid experience in an agile development environment with modern programming languages and technologies, preferably Go or Java/Spring Boot
experience with cloud-native applications using Open Policy Agent (OPA), Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, GCP
good knowledge of microservices architectures, Rest APIs, streaming and message queueing systems (e.g., Kafka)
familiarity with DevSecOps disciplines and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Tekton, Spinnaker
enthusiasm for working on scalable systems and embracing new technologies.
