Job Description:

The Global Network Banking (GNB) Relationship Associate assists Relationship Managers (RMs) in building relationships by recommending products and services and preparing them for client meetings. Responsibilities include triaging product sales opportunities, coordinating product fulfilment, due diligence for client portfolios, and providing operational support. Key skills include time management, customer service, financial analysis, and communication. CPA-20 Certification is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in building relationships by recommending products and services and preparing them for client meetings
  • Triage product sales opportunities, coordinate the product fulfilment, and complete due diligence for existing client portfolios and new business opportunities
  • Attend client meetings as necessary with Relationship Manager
  • Prepare all relevant pre and post customer documentation, collation/analysis of financial/non-financial information and coordination of products/solutions which suit customer needs
  • Collaborate with product partners to identify and match customer needs with relevant expertise
  • Provide full operational support to the team, anticipating workload and supporting with appropriate materials
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information in Group systems
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the team or business
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Focus on the end user, whether internal or external HSBC customers
  • Own and resolve issues with stakeholders or customers, escalating where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Finance, accounting or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position with international needs
  • Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, knowledge of other languages (German, French, Spanish) is a strong preference
  • Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension
  • CPA-20 Certification

Nice to have:

Knowledge of other languages (German, French, Spanish)
