A new GMP Cleaning Team Leader vacancy has arisen within our Cleanroom Cleaning department at our customer site on Little France Drive in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied
Provide support to the team members and liaising with the customer
Cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times
Produce GDP (Good Document Practice) Compliant reports and documentation
Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs
Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day
Report any faults/defects to the customer
Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the customer
Attend training sessions appertaining to post
Carry out any duties as required
Liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers
Adhere to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role
Requirements:
Must have a good level of written and spoken English
Some experience of cleaning
General good health
Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day
Prepared to wear full uniform at all times
Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures
Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office
Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required
Nice to have:
Experience within a similar industry
Team worker with a flexible approach
Knowledge of COSHH
An understanding of GMP and quality systems
Good communication skills
Machinery skills
