Job Responsibility:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the MICE division, ensuring smooth planning and execution of all MICE projects
Oversee travel logistics, event production, accommodation, ground handling, F&B, and program flow
Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and client requirements
Develop and implement operational SOPs for consistency and efficiency
Manage, mentor, and guide a team of 10 operations professionals
Allocate projects, monitor workflow, and ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and capability-building sessions
Act as a senior point of contact for key corporate clients
Understand client objectives and translate them into executable event/travel plans
Troubleshoot operational issues and provide proactive solutions during program planning and execution
Build and maintain relationships with DMCs, hotels, airlines, event agencies, transport providers, and other service partners
Negotiate rates, contracts, and service delivery terms to optimize cost and value
Ensure vendors meet required service and safety standards
Prepare and manage budgets, costing sheets, and profit margins for MICE projects
Monitor project finances, vendor payments, and profitability targets
Ensure cost-control measures and accurate financial reporting
Oversee on-ground operations for major events and incentive trips
Coordinate contingency plans, risk management, and client support during live events
Ensure brand consistency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning, execution, and vendor selection
Implement technology tools to improve tracking, communication, and efficiency
Provide weekly/monthly MIS on project status, team productivity, and operational performance
Requirements:
8–12+ years of experience in MICE / corporate group travel operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of international MICE destinations, airlines, hotels, and event suppliers
Proven experience in handling large group movements and complex event operations
Excellent vendor negotiation, budgeting, and crisis-management skills
