Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Travel Manager to lead and manage all aspects of international and domestic travel for employees, candidates, and business partners. This role requires deep expertise in global travel logistics, vendor management, and policy compliance. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the travel space and comfortable supporting internal company travel needs, including executive travel, recruiting logistics, and policy enforcement.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and manage a scalable global travel program aligned with company goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal travel needs, including employee travel, candidate interviews, relocations, and executive itineraries
  • Continuously evaluate and improve travel processes for efficiency, cost savings, and traveler satisfaction
  • Advise employees and stakeholders on company travel policies and ensure consistent application
  • Monitor travel spend and ensure bookings comply with budgetary and policy guidelines
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal to update and enforce travel policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and agencies
  • Negotiate contracts and preferred rates to optimize cost and service quality
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure service-level agreements are met
  • Coordinate travel for job candidates, including interview scheduling, relocation, and onboarding
  • Provide high-touch support for employee travel, including executive and international itineraries
  • Respond to travel-related issues and emergencies with professionalism and urgency
  • Utilize travel management systems (e.g., Concur, Sabre, Amadeus) to streamline booking and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of travel expenses, itineraries, and compliance metrics
  • Analyze travel data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in global or corporate travel management
  • Proven expertise in travel operations, policy development, and vendor negotiation
  • Experience supporting internal company travel needs, including recruiting and executive travel
  • Strong knowledge of international travel regulations, visa requirements, and health advisories
  • Proficiency in travel booking platforms and expense management tools
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple priorities
