Job Description

Responsible for import and export management which includes developing procedures, stablishing communication with internal and external parties regarding project updates and issue resolutions. Support operational execution of import/export tasks by reviewing project needs and translating them in executable import/export tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure import/export activities are conducted in compliance with customs and government agencies regulations
  • Maintain positive relationship with customs and other government agencies, to learn and gather new requirements and regulations in advance for implement and for issue resolution
  • Ensure all documents follow the record keeping process in compliance with Parexel’s and local regulations
  • Support with design and implementation of GTC operational and compliance procedures
  • Provide an efficient interface with customs brokers and ensure import and export clearance are performed efficiently and in compliance
  • Prepare and/or submit import and export license application which is aligned with project needs
  • Attend project meetings to provide import/export updates and support resolution of any import/export issues and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution
  • Track import/export licenses for quantity and expiry date. Inform and/or prepare and/or submit import/export license application

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree, or equivalent (e.g. Pharm. D.), in biology, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline, international trade or logistics business

  • Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to maintain and develop client relationships
  • Possess strong working knowledge of customs and/or clinical trial regulations and ability to apply technical knowledge to complex global business transactions
  • Adequate experience with regulatory framework in one or more regions of the globe, and the ability to understand and work within a multitude of government regulatory schemes and agencies
