Job Description

Fivetran is looking for a Global Technology Alliances Manager to develop cross functional partnerships with sales, marketing and product teams and “own” the relationship, strategy and execution for key technology partnerships Amazon Web Services and Azure at Fivetran. This role helps to accelerate joint go to market efforts which generate new business opportunities and mutual customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and own the global strategic relationships with AWS and Azure, serving as Fivetran’s primary point of contact within the first 90 days
  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner resource for U.S. field sales and pre-sales teams within the first 90 days, while building strong alignment with key Product and Marketing stakeholders
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to execute joint go-to-market initiatives, balancing repeatable programs with bespoke motions to generate pipeline and new business opportunities
  • Manage the day-to-day strategic direction, executive relationships, and overall execution of Fivetran’s partnerships with AWS and Azure
  • Engage sales leadership and partner sales teams to drive coordinated outreach, build field-level relationships, and secure regional partner engagement
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute joint sales and marketing campaigns aligned to key use cases, with a focus on pipeline creation and revenue growth
  • Build and expand executive-level relationships with AWS and Azure to deepen shared customer value, accelerate adoption, and drive mutual growth
  • Create new strategic opportunities for Fivetran by increasing alignment between partner organizations and internal partner owners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in alliances or partnerships at a technology company, ideally within cloud, data, or SaaS ecosystems
  • Prior enterprise sales and pipeline development experience, with the ability to support and influence complex sales cycles
  • Proven track record of developing and executing joint partner initiatives in competitive, fast-moving environments
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing momentum
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, paired with a history of driving measurable business results
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to engage stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and executive teams
  • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders through strong leadership, collaboration, and executive presence
