Job Description

You will become an integral part of our global Tax Department in Petah Tikva, Israel. In this role, you will be responsible for tax matters, including but not limited to corporate income tax compliance, indirect tax compliance, tax planning, and tax audit, etc. The Tax Manager will face countless challenges and will have plenty of learning and growth opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Take responsibility for tax-related strategies, challenges, and compliance
  • Lead and coordinate tax returns compliance obligations in all global operational jurisdictions, as well as oversight worldwide indirect/consumption taxes requirements such as VAT, GST, and Sales tax
  • Take responsibility for all tax accounting aspects, including quarterly and annually worldwide income tax items (ASC 740) and identify and document UTPs and tax contingencies (FIN 48 and ASC450)
  • Manage & monitor global TP arrangements as well as I/C agreements
  • Manage global expansion projects
  • Establish & communicate policies to ensure adequate controls and documentation of all direct and indirect taxes
  • Advise and lead implementation of tax related technology-solutions to improve the group performance and compliance
  • Manage external tax audits, globally
  • Review key commercial engagements with customers, vendors & partners and advise on tax implications
  • Identify and implement relevant tax incentive programs, globally
  • Assess and research challenging tax issues to identify solutions. Liaise with internal teams and external advisors to resolve tax compliance issues
  • Keep track of industry trends and relevant changes related to taxes
  • Manage external advisors, globally

Requirements

  • CPA or qualified lawyer
  • 2 years of ad-hoc corporate tax experience and expertise in either International or U.S. Tax
  • Experience with global high-tech companies and with SEC reporting for a public company will both be a big advantage
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and an ability to interpret and implement new GAAP guidance
  • Commitment and dedication to hard work, and great personal sense of responsibility
  • Ability to distinguish between primary and secondary tasks, and to work efficiently
  • Excellent People & Communication Skills at the Global Level
  • Proficiency with digital environments, ready to take on tasks involving the implementation and operation of both existing and new internal technologies
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Most important – you don’t deteriorate from challenges, you’re great with people & technology and you know how to ask the right questions and to look for solutions
