The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. The Cloud Sourcing, Spares, Security and Sustainability (CS4) organization within CSCP manages sourcing, strategy, and suppliers to provide cost, flexibility, and supply advantages that enable our org to become a world-class supply chain. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Job Responsibility:
Work with internal teams to drive 3PL and system integrator alignment to supply parts to meet production targets
Manage metrics including days of supply, E&O, shortages within lead time, appropriate space availability and inventory exposure at each supplier to improve performance
Manage operational issues between T2 supplier and hub provider
Create & report metrics for hub operations
Identify areas for process improvement to reduce Cycle Time
Support onboarding new suppliers to Hub
Work with Supply Chain and Capacity Planning teams on the timing and availability of product transitions to plan for platform end of life (minimizing E&O inventory) and ramp of new platforms.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR equivalent experience
1+ year of experience in a financial role
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Capable of performing complex data analysis to identify problems or opportunities to improve supply chain performance
Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and logistics
Proven track record of delivering change, process improvement, and lean manufacturing solutions
Experience with MRP/ERP systems, including material planning specific software such as Rapid Response
Able to think and plan strategically and execute tasks with attention to detail
Ability to work under continual deadline constraints.
