You will be responsible for building and managing Etched’s global supply base for critical silicon and memory components — ensuring availability, cost control, and long-term supply resilience in a highly constrained and competitive market. This is a strategic role working closely with hardware architecture, engineering, and manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with Hardware Engineering and Architecture teams to align component choices with supply availability and cost targets
  • Drive cost modeling, market benchmarking, and forecasting for volatile semiconductor markets
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks related to capacity constraints, geopolitical exposure, and technology transitions

  • Monitor market trends and proactively adjust sourcing strategies
  • Present supply outlooks, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Long-term capacity planning and supply assurance strategies
  • Semiconductor market cycles and pricing dynamics
  • Startup or high-growth hardware environments
What we offer:

  • $500 per month credit for waiving medical benefits
  • Housing subsidy of $2k per month for those living within walking distance of the office
  • Relocation support for those moving to San Jose (Santana Row)
  • Various wellness benefits covering fitness, mental health, and more
