Job Description

The Global Strategic Sr. Category Lead is responsible for ensuring assurance of supply, superior cost management, and strong stewardship across assigned indirect spend categories. This role supports internal business partners and external suppliers while maintaining system accuracy, resolving discrepancies, managing category data, and driving value through strategic analysis. Responsibilities include managing category strategies, tracking usage and spend, conducting price and contract reconciliation, and supporting sourcing events. The Global Strategic Sr. Category Lead is supposed to directly source selected categories to ensure best total value and supply continuity while adhering to Sourcing’s best practices, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience in Indirect Sourcing functions
  • Experience working with S&OP/ERP/payment systems
  • Self motivated, can function with little/no daily direction setting from manager
  • Demonstrated strong desire and innate capability to learn
  • Skills: Problem solving capabilities, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
