Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, performance measurement and improvement for electrical and electronic commodities
  • Develop and lead supplier selection process (including RFI/RFQ/RFP) for new electrical component suppliers
  • Negotiate and manage service costs, including NRE, associated with new product introduction
  • Negotiate assurance of supply, lead time commitments, and cost competitiveness with suppliers
  • Partner with internal Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations teams to develop improvement plans and drive improvements throughout the product life cycle
  • Establish end-to-end partner performance measurements and scorecards and hold suppliers accountable to continually improve cost, quality, and delivery
  • Collaborate with the legal team on manufacturing service agreements and/or statements of work to ensure contract compliance
  • Conduct executive-level quarterly business reviews (QBR) with critical suppliers to review mutual objectives, implementation, process, and performance evaluation
  • Manage and improve existing suppliers and help map out the future commodity management supplier strategy
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with software service providers, including negotiation and management of service and support agreements with software service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in International Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a directly related field
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain management, component manufacturing, and development of consumer electronics
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain management, including supplier performance improvement
  • 5 years of experience in project management
  • 5 years of experience in supplier relationship management
  • 3 years of experience using ERP systems for supply chain management
  • 3 years of experience in contract management, including negotiations, strategy development, execution, running RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and cost breakdown analysis
  • 3 years of experience working with international manufacturers/ supply chains
