As a Global Senior CE Application Service Engineer you act as the subject matter expert of the data center Building Automation (BAS) OR Electrical Power Monitoring system (EPMS). You will be responsible for applications support, service management, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, optimization and security of the control system. You will be required to analyze controls monitoring data to proactively identify issues and provide optimization to controls standards to increase availability, efficiency and sustainability. You will be responsible to manage or support global service of the third party controls vendors, driving improvements to the systems and evaluation of new products. In this role you will be part of the global Datacenter Monitoring and Controls Engineering (DMCE) team, where you can work with a technically diverse team to learn and contribute to many aspects of control systems – execution, telemetry, security, service, operations and optimization. This is a flexible role allowing you to fully work remote.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively identify issues within the BAS or EPMS and deploy appropriate fixes to resolve root cause(s) and enable prevention
Implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance BAS or EPMS solutions which may include first of kind or new technologies, new products, and interactions between technology layers
Collaborate with Security teams to respond to and prevent security items
Influence BAS or EPMS design and engineering teams to adopt new standards and practices, may include regular meetings with engineering teams
Take ownership of BAS or EPMS end to end service design by driving efforts within an organization to identify, define, recommend, and build optimal configurations with considerations for cost management
Drive new telemetry API initiatives, create and utilize telemetry data to influence necessary changes or improvements based on the data
Develop automation to define, develop, measure, track, change, and improve the quality of BAS or EPMS systems

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related AND 8+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
Mission Critical facility experience
Experience with BACnet, IEC61850, OPC UA, and/or SNMP communication protocols
Ability to manage, prioritize and successfully execute multiple concurrent mission-critical infrastructure projects with adherence to deadlines
Ability to lead team of engineers in advanced engineering and operational processes and procedures as they relate to large data center environments
Proven ability in software engineering including code design, implementation, user interfaces, and operator experience as it relates to BAS or EPMS
Working knowledge of contract terms, conditions, mechanism, and procedures
