Are you a commercially sharp software procurement professional ready to take ownership of a global category within one of the world's most respected technology & professional services organisations? This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic, high-visibility role within a global powerhouse renowned for excellence in digital transformation, innovation, and technology. You will be leading core areas across the global software estate, shaping strategy and managing major vendor partnerships that underpin the organisation's most critical business functions. As Global Senior Buyer for Software, you'll operate at the centre of a sophisticated, matrixed global environment partnering directly with C-level stakeholders, global functional heads, and business leaders across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, and Corporate Operations. This is a role that will stretch your capability, elevate your professional profile, and position you within one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking procurement functions in the market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead global, end-to-end strategic sourcing across a diverse software portfolio, including cybersecurity solutions, workplace applications (Microsoft, LinkedIn, collaboration tools), GenAI technologies, corporate platforms (HR, Sales, Legal, ERP, Finance), and business services software
  • Shape and execute global software category strategies, ensuring alignment with operational, financial, and digital transformation priorities
  • Own complex vendor negotiations with major global software providers and emerging technology suppliers, navigating licensing models, renewals, and enterprise-wide agreements
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, influence decision-making, and deliver measurable commercial value
  • Manage global supplier relationships, driving performance, compliance, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement
  • Support transformation of the global software procurement landscape through innovation, governance, and best-in-class strategic sourcing practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing global or multi-regional software negotiations and complex vendor landscapes
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with the confidence to engage with executive level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, contractual, and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of software procurement constraints and risk management
  • Experience working within complex, multinational, or consulting environments (technology, banking, insurance, or global integrators highly advantageous)
  • Fluent, executive-level English communication skills - clear, confident, and credible
