The Global Sales Trainer reports to the Director of Product, Clinical Education & Global Sales Training. This Trainer is responsible for the development and delivery of educational material to support the entire global IVP business in both product and sales training. This includes development and delivery of interactive education programs for the existing Sales Team as well as all new hires. Training methodology includes but is not limited to pre-training, field-based instruction, virtual education, and post-training evaluation. This trainer regularly collaborates and coordinates with the Marketing teams and other cross-functional groups. Market Responsibility: Primary focus is North America with Global support. Product Responsibility: All products in the Interventional Pain RFA Solutions Portfolio.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with leadership to develop and deliver a training program that is prioritized, scheduled, and driven by business objectives
Effectively construct educational content that meets Marketing, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance requirements
Collaborate with GSM on the development and execution of training related to new product launches and existing products
Support our global sales and marketing team in new initiatives as necessary based on updates within the market
Coordinate with the Clinical Sales Specialist Team on content development and presentation for all Sales training classes
Ensure training and education materials are designed for flexibility and reusability globally
Utilize appropriate delivery tools to provide instruction that effectively combines learning style with content type
Maintain a knowledge base of current industry practices and trends to ensure the provision of relevant education and training
Evaluate training program effectiveness while identifying areas of improvement and additional instructional needs
Serve as the expert for the IVP product portfolio
Thoroughly understand and demonstrate effective use of all approved clinical data/studies
Practice accountability and communicate meaningfully and effectively
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of three (3) years Sales or Marketing experience with Medical Devices
Proven consistent positive results in Medical Device Sales, Training, or Marketing
Knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint), Salesforce, and Power BI
Strong leadership qualities including vision, decisiveness, collaboration, innovation, and ability to build and assess talent
Demonstrates high-impact communication, presentation, problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal skills
Extensive travel required, maximum 50% (a portion of which is international)
Nice to have:
Previous experience as a Field Sales or Corporate Trainer in Medical Devices preferred
