Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Global Sales Director will be responsible for leading and delivering global sales performance for RCT, including revenue growth, sales strategy, business development and commercial execution across all regions. This is a pivotal role in driving fact-based sales management across Australia (direct sales) and internationally through Epiroc Customer Centers.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop the global RCT sales organisation and support Epiroc Customer Centre sales teams in driving automation sales
  • Develop and execute global and regional sales strategies to deliver revenue growth across Australia, APAC, NASA and EMEA
  • Establish strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across RCT, Epiroc Business Lines and Customer Centers
  • Drive regional business development plans to expand RCT market penetration and product adoption across global mining customers
  • Identify and develop strategic customer opportunities, new markets and growth segments for RCT solutions
  • Maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline and ensure disciplined opportunity management through CRM
  • Monitor key commercial metrics including pipeline coverage, win rates, deal conversion and forecast accuracy
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and lost deal reviews to improve sales effectiveness and competitive positioning
  • Support Customer Centers with sales enablement, opportunity development and commercial guidance for RCT solutions
  • Ensure consistent commercial governance including quotation standards, pricing discipline and deal approval processes

Requirements

  • Trade Certificate or Degree in related fields (MBA desirable)
  • Previous Sales Management experience in relevant industry sector
  • 10+ years of business and relationship development or senior sales experience with a proven track record of success managing large B2B accounts
  • Strong Account management skills leveraged through a sales process and CRM
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to internal and external client requirements accurately and in an effective and timely manner
  • Proven capacity to deliver high quality outputs under pressure
  • Commitment to good records management and procedures documentation
  • Proficiency in RCT sales system usage
