Job Responsibility

  • Provide analytical, strategic, and operational support for Meta’s Sales & Marketing Business organization, “Meta Business Group” (MBG), with the primary objective of enabling the leadership team to make effective, analytically driven and strategic operating decisions
  • Create data visualizations and reporting in Tableau to help key stakeholders better understand the business and track important metrics
  • Create pipelines for new metrics/new reports
  • Identify and use signals to identify opportunities for new insights and trends that may impact business decisions, short and long-term growth, resource allocation, and workforce strategy, investment in product support, and optimization of tools and systems
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers
  • Effectively plan and collaborate with team members on data-driven projects to improve internal tools, systems, and data pipeline
  • Help establish short and long-term goals that will advance the organization’s productivity through analytics
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for MBG leadership

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field and 18 months of experience in the job offered or a similar occupation
  • Requires 18 months of experience involving the following: Advanced SQL coding experience including working with complex datasets (create, maintain, and improve data sets, pipelines and reporting)
  • Experience utilizing both qualitative analysis (e.g. content analysis, hypothesis testing) and quantitative analysis techniques (e.g. cluster analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics)
  • Experience initiating and completing analytical projects with minimal guidance, including stakeholder and project management
  • Experience presenting technical content to non-technical audiences and leadership
  • Leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth
  • Building business reporting and analysis tools, including reports and dashboards
  • Creating automated global sales productivity reporting and dashboard using Heroku
