A well-capitalized, global manufacturing organization is seeking a Director, Global Quality to lead enterprise-wide quality, regulatory, product safety, and sustainability initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role with global scope and executive access, offering the opportunity to build and harmonize systems rather than inherit fragmented or reactive quality environments.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a global quality, regulatory, and product safety organization with responsibility for a distributed team
Develop talent and establish consistent quality expectations across regions
Define and maintain global quality, regulatory, and product safety standards aligned with business strategy
Monitor evolving global regulations and proactively manage compliance risk
Harmonize processes, systems, and documentation under a global Quality Management System
Maintain global certifications such as ISO and BRC
Establish supplier quality standards, audits, and corrective action processes
Serve as senior quality escalation point for customer complaints and performance issues
Drive KPIs related to customer complaints and cost of quality
Partner with product development and operations to embed quality into design and manufacturing
Lead sustainability initiatives, including global reporting and cross-functional alignment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline
10+ years of quality, engineering, or manufacturing experience within plastics, packaging, bottling, or adjacent regulated manufacturing environments
5+ years of people leadership experience
Lean and or Six Sigma expertise strongly preferred
