Job Description

A well-capitalized, global manufacturing organization is seeking a Director, Global Quality to lead enterprise-wide quality, regulatory, product safety, and sustainability initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role with global scope and executive access, offering the opportunity to build and harmonize systems rather than inherit fragmented or reactive quality environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a global quality, regulatory, and product safety organization with responsibility for a distributed team
  • Develop talent and establish consistent quality expectations across regions
  • Define and maintain global quality, regulatory, and product safety standards aligned with business strategy
  • Monitor evolving global regulations and proactively manage compliance risk
  • Harmonize processes, systems, and documentation under a global Quality Management System
  • Maintain global certifications such as ISO and BRC
  • Establish supplier quality standards, audits, and corrective action processes
  • Serve as senior quality escalation point for customer complaints and performance issues
  • Drive KPIs related to customer complaints and cost of quality
  • Partner with product development and operations to embed quality into design and manufacturing
  • Lead sustainability initiatives, including global reporting and cross-functional alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of quality, engineering, or manufacturing experience within plastics, packaging, bottling, or adjacent regulated manufacturing environments
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Lean and or Six Sigma expertise strongly preferred
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM/OE) preferred
