Job Description:

You will lead premium packaging (innovation, big and small, that will make our business win and grow. You will learn from brilliant business leaders and colleagues in a truly global and diverse culture to ultimately become a better you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute the Premium Packaging Procurement Strategy (incl. team set up) for Beauty & Wellbeing
  • Fully responsible for end to end management of Premium Packaging spend
  • Develop and manage the premium packaging supplier base across all key business dimensions: supply, resilience, agility, quality, responsible sourcing, sustainability, cost and cash
  • Drive key innovations and other key procurement programs for the portfolio
  • Actively support Unilever Sustainability Agenda
  • Closely and constructively team up with the rest of the Beauty & Wellbeing team integrating premium packaging in innovations, CMs and actively drive Partnerships. Closely work with Strategy & Insights, Unilever Prestige and the B &W BUs, as well as the x-functional teams including R&D and Supply Chain.
  • Be a true premium packaging business partner beyond Procurement and ambitiously drive Value for Unilever
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure price competitiveness and cost-saving, support the business with accurate price forecasting, deliver the working capital (payment terms) plans for the portfolio
  • Ensure compliance to defined procurement procedures such as RFQs and contract management process

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Strong experience in Procurement (5-10 years)
  • Team leadership experience is a plus
  • Packaging/FMCG experience is also a plus
  • Strong track record of delivering and executing portfolio strategies, cost savings and business value
  • Experience in transformation programs
  • Strategic sourcing
