This role is a cornerstone of Beauty & Wellbeing’s value creation and simplification agenda, designed to deliver step‑change Gross Margin (GM) expansion and structural complexity reduction across the global portfolio. The Assistant Manager will also lead the Lighthouse pillar RAAS (Redesign Approval of Alternate Suppliers) for B&W end‑to‑end, owning its strategy, governance, and global implementation. The role will redefine how alternate suppliers are enabled, approved, and scaled across B&W, unlocking margin, improving resilience, and simplifying the value chain at scale. In parallel, the person will own and coordinate quarterly B&W material forecasting, ensuring robust visibility, alignment, and decision support across Procurement, Finance, and cross functional stakeholders. This is a high‑impact global change leadership role, operating at the intersection of procurement, R&D, supply chain, and finance, with strong visibility to senior stakeholders across the Beauty & Wellbeing organization.
Job Responsibility:
Gross Margin Expansion - Own governance and reporting of B&W GM expansion, tracking savings delivery and leading cross functional initiatives to unlock structural margin
Complexity Reduction - Lead complexity reduction across materials, suppliers, and specifications, simplifying the value chain while improving resilience, scalability, and speed without compromising quality or compliance
Lighthouse Pillar Ownership – RAAS - Own and lead the global RAAS Lighthouse pillar, defining governance, ways of working, and driving consistent implementation of redesign approval of alternate suppliers across markets for B&W Category
Quarterly Beauty & Wellbeing Forecasting - Own and coordinate quarterly B&W material spends forecasting from a procurement lens, ensuring alignment between BUs and different buying team, cost assumptions, and savings levers
Cross Functional Leadership & Change - Act as a global change leader, partnering with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, BUs to remove any bottlenecks, accelerate decisions, and embed new ways of working
Requirements:
4+ years experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D
Structured problem solving and systems thinking
Ability to lead global, cross functional initiatives
Strong execution discipline with the ability to scale ideas into global ways of working
Experience in project management and/or project planning
Excellent communication skills
Analytical skills
Good networking and relationship management skills
