Job Description

As Global Process Owner P2P you will get the chance to be part of a major program, working with a highly experienced Director of Finance Transformation on a global platform providing an exceptional career enhancing opportunity. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact as the group set out on a global transformation program to drive performance improvement, efficiency and consistency within finance shared services. Reporting to the Finance Director (transformation and shared services) and based in the UK you will play a key role in shaping the future of finance shared services for P2P including the phased transition to SAP Hana.

Job Responsibility

  • undertake a current status review to understand current processes and procedures
  • create a future operating model plan, leveraging technology / automation opportunities and driving quality operating practices and processes that are fit for purpose, scalable and compliant at group and local level
  • oversee the implementation of the operating model across Europe, the America’s and Asia
  • inspire a ‘continuous improvement’ culture, encouraging collaborative working to achieve everything from ‘quick wins’ to big picture strategic objectives

Requirements

  • Proven subject matter experience in P2P gained within an international business
  • Finance Shared Services expertise – we will consider captive / in-house or outsourced service delivery
  • Manufacturing sector experience would by highly advantageous
  • Ideally a qualified accountant or a highly experienced finance shared services professional
  • Strong business transformation skills encompassing people, processes and systems – SAP ECC experience is essential
  • Excellent planning, organisation and planning skills
  • Great communication and presentation skills (across all levels) with the ability to inspire and influence
  • Willing to travel as necessary, particularly in the UK, Poland and occasionally globally
