Job Description

The Global People & Culture (P&C) Data Steward & Governance Lead is accountable for building, governing, and continuously improving the quality, structure, and usability of P&C data across the organisation. This role plays a critical part in the build and evolution of SAP-based P&C systems, defining data privacy models, data objects, lineage, and quality standards. Acting as the global Data Steward for all P&C data, the role ensures data is accurate, well-governed, legally compliant, and fit for operational, analytical, and strategic use.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data governance, data management, or data stewardship, ideally in a global environment
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise systems, preferably SAP in an HR/P&C context
  • Solid understanding of data models, data objects, data lineage, and data quality frameworks
  • Experience defining and managing master data and data catalogues
  • Good working knowledge of data privacy and protection principles (e.g. GDPR) as they relate to system and data design
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and legal functions

Nice to have

  • Experience specifically with People & Culture / HR data and employee lifecycle data
  • Familiarity with data governance tooling, metadata management, or lineage tools
  • Exposure to analytics or reporting use cases for P&C data
  • Certifications in data management, privacy, or governance (e.g. DAMA, CIPP/E, SAP-related)
