Job Responsibility

Execute and evolve our global payroll strategy, transitioning offshore payrolls to a centralized global platform
Oversee end-to-end global payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance with all reporting obligations
Lead major payroll transformation projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and harmonization initiatives
Drive process improvements to enhance scalability, accuracy, and efficiency
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements across multiple jurisdictions
Develop global payroll policies and controls, embedding best practices and mitigating risk
Partner with senior leadership to advise on payroll implications of policy changes and strategic decisions
Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery and compliance

12+ years of experience leading global payroll operations in a public company environment
Deep understanding of U.S. and international payroll laws, taxation, and compliance requirements
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain SOX-compliant controls and documentation

Partner cross-functionally with People Operations, HRIS, Benefits, Accounting, Equity, and Tax on payroll-related initiatives, including system integrations, entity setup, and compliance enhancements
Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness for payroll-related processes
Create and maintain policies, documentation, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and adherence to global labor, tax, and data protection requirements
Serve as a strategic partner in global expansion efforts, advising on payroll design, vendor models, and compliance strategy
