Job Responsibility:

  • Owner of the Invoice approval process through Coupa
  • Single point of contact for audit requests for payroll
  • Payroll accounting reconciliation for Singapore
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Process employee payroll in a timely manner and review for accuracy
  • Suggest process and system improvements to improve the accuracy, scalability and efficiency of the process.
  • Advise employees on payroll related enquiries
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with individual country and state laws on payroll accounting including federal and state taxes, social security contributions etc.
  • Produce and maintain payroll and tax records
  • Scope and implement payroll process improvement projects
  • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Scope and implement payroll process improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
  • Previous experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role for Regional Payroll
  • Payroll and tax knowledge for APAC, EMEA, and/or US
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Great computational ability
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Familiarity with payroll systems - ADP (Singapore), Vistra, and Namely (US) is a plus.
