Global Payments Manager will be responsible for the Global Payments Team (11 FTE) located in CPBC, Poland and global AP processes for over 40 entities. The role carries full accountability for people management, strategic planning, day-to-day operations, and the development and implementation of efficient, compliant, and increasingly automated finance processes. This position acts as the global process owner for Accounts Payable and Payments, serving as the primary point of contact for Business Support and key finance stakeholders. The Global Payments Manager ensures operational excellence, strong controls, and compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements while driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the AP function.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, and recruit the Global Accounts Payable team, including performance management and capability development
Hold full accountability for global payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance and fraud prevention
Oversee AP group reporting and the financial year-end close of AP books for all supported entities
Represent AP and Payments processes in internal reviews and external audits
Execute global finance strategy, including projects, transitions, and operating model changes
Lead and support the continuous development and optimization of AP and Payment processes, controls, and methodologies
Drive the transformation of Global Accounts Payable into a modern, efficient, and highly automated function
Identify improvement and optimization opportunities within the AP area and across adjacent finance and business functions
Maintain close collaboration with Business Support, Treasury, Group Reporting and Controlling, IT, Global Tax & Compliance and Procurement
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners during projects and transformation initiatives
Requirements:
Strong finance competencies, experience in Treasury and/or Payments
Solid experience in project management and finance transitions
Natural leadership skills, ability and passion to motivate and manage people
At least 3-5 years’ experience in leading people
Business experience from an international organization working across borders
Strong experience in efficiency implementation (includes digitalization and automation)
Strategic business understanding
Communication and interpersonal skills
