The Global Trainee Program 2026 marks the beginning of an exciting journey at RHI Magnesita. It offers early-career graduates the opportunity to unlock their potential and grow into future leaders and experts. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience through multiple rotations across different departments, building a deep understanding of our business and expanding your professional network. By the end, you’ll land your final position, equipped with invaluable insights and connections.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with operations experts to implement and sustain lean methodologies
  • Support the ramp-up of our world-class manufacturing system, providing essential assistance
  • Ensure smooth coordination and alignment of project activities through your outstanding communication skills
  • Analyse operational challenges and work with regional teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and our production plants to gain practical experience
  • Support day-to-day operational activities. Starting your focus on production and quality control system
  • Inclined to learn and participate in Maintenance and Supply chain activities
  • Gather and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Participate in internal training programs focused mainly on lean principles and operational excellence
  • Be a leader focused on SAFETY
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency at a regional level

Requirements:

  • University degree (minimum BSc) in process/mechanical/electrical engineering, or similar field
  • Previous professional experience or internship in manufacturing operations and lean methodologies
  • Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH (spoken and written)
  • Data analytic skills and good affinity with Microsoft Excel
  • Eager to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Pragmatic problem-solver and strong communicator
  • Agile, open-minded, and embracing change

Nice to have:

  • Other language such as Portuguese or German is a plus
  • PowerBI is nice-to-have

  • Three weeks of onboarding - one week of local onboarding at your designated hub location and zone
  • Global Induction at our HQ - providing an introduction to our company's strategy, culture, products, sales channels and problem-solving approaches
  • Five months of Field Training in which you will rotate through key areas of our value chain including Sales, Supply, Logistics, Product, Customer Service, and will gain hands-on experience by actively participating in daily operations and project work during each rotation
  • One week of Leadership and Methodology training to foster a unified system-thinking approach and prepare you for your first project
  • A four-month individual project in which you will be able to deliver tangible and measurable results as an active team member by applying methodology skills and technical knowledge
