Global Assignments designs, manages, and supports international assignments, contributing to the global orientation of the Volkswagen Group. As part of the Center of Expertise, you will be a member of a dedicated team specializing in the centralized management of expert topics and the service providers commissioned in this context. Our goal is to ensure HR compliance for international assignments within the Volkswagen Group and to facilitate a smooth flow of information between internal and external partners, both domestically and internationally.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring the accurate recording of data for HR systems, controlling systems (including cost controlling), and payroll
  • Supporting the coordination of Global Tax Provider processes between Group companies, the relevant departments (Tax, HR, Finance and Controlling), and the external tax advisor operating worldwide for the Group
  • Further developing the Group’s tax policy for assignees
  • Responding to assignees’ inquiries on tax-related matters in connection with international assignments
  • Actively contributing to various projects and special tasks within the Global Assignments area

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration or law (with a focus on taxation) or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified tax specialist)
  • Qualified tax advisor certification
  • Practical experience in tax consulting, ideally with a focus on international tax law
  • English language level B2
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong intercultural competence
  • High level of initiative and customer orientation
  • Strong analytical skills
