We are currently seeking a Global Merchandise Planning Assistant as part of our dynamic team in Milan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on business performance across all categories and regions
  • Translate business needs into analytic and reporting requirements, issue analysis and interpret trends to support strategic priorities
  • Support both Corporate and Regional Planning processes including Sales Plan and Open-to-Buy forecasts
  • Monitor the evolution of the Buying campaign
  • Provide other department with ad hoc data and analysis
  • Facilitate decision making by publishing actionable Dashboards & KPIs on a regular basis (ST%, month of stock coverage, etc)
  • Constantly check and secure data quality, consistency and completeness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (economics or statistics preferred) or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • 1/2 year of working experience, preferably in (at least) one of the following sectors: merchandising planning, financial control or planning, business development or analyst
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • High proficiency on Office suite (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Good knowledge of English both written and spoken
  • Attitude to problem solving combined with strong professional relational skills
