We are currently seeking a Global Logistics Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Global Logistics Associate at ICON, you will play an essential role in coordinating and managing the efficient movement of goods and materials across the global supply chain. You will support the delivery of high-quality services to our clients by ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading and coordinating global logistics activities for assigned clinical studies, ensuring timely execution from study start‑up through close‑out in line with contractual and protocol requirements
  • Acting as the primary logistics contact for Sponsors/Clients, internal study teams, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of logistics‑related questions and issues
  • Planning and implementing study‑specific logistics processes, including documenting logistics assumptions, workflows, and country‑level requirements within the Logistics Project Plan
  • Proactively managing logistics risks and issues, tracking potential impacts to timelines or supply continuity, and driving mitigation and escalation as needed
  • Coordinating vendors, depots, and clinical trial supplies, including oversight of third‑party logistics providers, depot setup and close‑out, and the distribution of IMP and related materials
  • Overseeing logistics budgets and operational controls, including vendor contracts, invoicing, local procurement, and scope changes to ensure cost control and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, supporting clinical trials and pharmaceutical operations in a global, multi-site environment
  • Proven experience managing study-specific logistics activities within complex, regulated operational contexts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, Sponsors/Clients, and external vendors
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Strong experience with logistics, inventory, or supply chain management systems and Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word), with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
