Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot platform-related issues, with a focus on identifying and resolving system bottlenecks
Provide solutions and alternative approaches, negotiating with customers about the best ways to overcome issues
Use logging and troubleshooting tools to identify performance bottlenecks and perform root-cause analysis
Bridge with internal teams to be a part of our product’s continuous improvement process
Interact with many different people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures, both internally and with customers
Requirements:
Intermediate knowledge in troubleshooting Application Servers (IIS) performance issues and able to clearly communicate recommendations for improvement
Intermediate knowledge of Databases and query optimization (SQL Server and Oracle)
Foundational knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, SMTP, SSH
Degree in Engineering or other technology-related degrees (BSc, MSc). 4 years' work experience in lieu of degree
Tech savviness and drive to solve complex problems with the ability to deconstruct problems into smaller pieces, with little or no preset resolution pattern
Fluency in English and Japanese is a must
