As a Global Junior Technical Developer for Flavored Non-Alcoholic Beverages, you will play a pivotal role in the fast-growing non-alcoholic beverage space. Operating directly from our global innovation center, you will assist in a wide range of lab-based activities, supporting the prototyping and sensory evaluation of innovative beverage concepts. Your hands-on contributions will ensure the efficiency, organization, and safety of our lab operations, enabling impactful experimentation and the assessment of new-to-company or new-to-world beverage ingredients.
Job Responsibility
Executing product development trials under guided supervision to continuously improve sensory profiles, cost efficiency, flavor stability, and scalability
Performing physico-chemical analyses of prototypes following established standard procedures
Preparing and producing beverage prototypes for internal and external evaluations
Assisting in organizing research pilot brewery trials, which includes completing safety inductions, submitting trial requests, coordinating ingredient deliveries, and aligning trial details with technicians
Screening and evaluating relevant ingredients against defined criteria, documenting findings structurally in the team's cloud storage, and liaising with approved suppliers to obtain technical information for application testing
Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and 5S implementation of lab storage areas (including specific cold storage units)
Supporting the upkeep of lab infrastructure, coordinating equipment calibration, and ordering necessary utilities or products
Organizing and documenting sensory evaluations and project-related taste panels
Supporting the proactive global tracking of competitor product launches, ensuring sensory data is uploaded into our internal database
Managing the receipt, unpacking, storage, and shipment of materials, packages, prototypes, and ingredients to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
A Professional Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific discipline
2–3 years of relevant professional experience within a food or beverage laboratory environment is considered a strong asset
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
Additional languages such as Spanish is a plus
A solid understanding of basic laboratory practices and procedures
Proficiency in digital tools like Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Zoom, and Copilot
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on
