Wells Fargo is seeking a Global Investment Strategy Associate (Wealth Investment Solutions Associate) to join the Wells Fargo Investment Institute. The Global Investment Strategy (GIS) team offers investment guidance to investment professionals and clients. The GIS team strives to deliver accurate, timely and easy-to-understand investment strategy and research to help investors identify potential opportunities in financial, real estate, and commodity markets, and in hedge fund and private capital strategies. The associate partners with senior investment analysts and strategists formulating asset allocation guidance, tracking performance of model portfolios, and contributing to a variety of reports for internal and external audiences covering topics such as politics, public policies, the economy, financial markets, and market risk and their impact on portfolio guidance.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in performing economic and market evaluation to support the formulation of asset allocation guidance under the guidance of senior analysts
Track model portfolio performance and contribute to a variety of reports for both internal and external audiences
Develop charts and support portfolio optimization and other quantitative analysis
Prepare and present team analysis and recommendations to various audiences
Examine, research, and complete statistical evaluation on economic and investment trends using quantitative analysis
Support, develop, and recommend strategies
Partner with investment strategists in the preparation and presentation of written evaluation and charts including client approved publications
Requirements:
6+ months of Wealth Investment Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, executive‑level communications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge and understanding of investment research, including portfolio analysis and/or quantitative finance
Experience using investment research platforms, such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, or FactSet
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including R, Python, and Tableau
Knowledge of digital currencies and related financial markets
