Job Responsibility:
Establish and nurture relationships across commercial sales, finance, manufacturing, and other departments
Develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, industry trends, technology, and manufacturing processes to support planning strategies
Improve your understanding of the entire planning process, including demand, supply, new product introduction, material planning, and S&OP
Lead and influence business unit leaders to build consensus demand plans, reconcile them with monetized plans, and address any gaps
Analyze data to determine effective approaches for managing product needs and availability. Develop and complete coordinated plans
Evaluate buying patterns and predict responses to product phase-ins and phase-outs, considering various factors such as demand fluctuations and sales campaigns
Assess the impact of promotions and events using what-if analysis to build scenarios and recommendations
Define and drive demand variance realignment processes when vital
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on supply and demand impacts, including new product launches and demand shifts
Develop and support regular performance and metric reporting for key collaborators
Direct supply delivery timing and collaborate on inventory expedited requirements
Lead demand and supply strategies to maintain inventory targets, improve efficiencies, and manage forecasted costs
Lead discussions and develop presentations for collaborators both inside and outside the organization
Undertake additional duties as assigned, such as training other team members
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, analytics, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in predictive analytics and handling large data sets
Proficiency in sophisticated forecasting tools and predictive modeling
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning
Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence supply chain strategy across cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills to address work-related issues efficiently
Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
Highly motivated, dedicated, and continuously seeking ways to achieve excellence
Collaborative and influential, building positive relationships with internal and external collaborators
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have:
Preferred experience in global supply chain with a technology company
Desired experience with SQL and relational databases
Supply chain/operations certification, such as APICS, CPIM, or Lean Manufacturing, is a plus
