This pivotal role leads the global development and management of Aramex's project cargo services, encompassing diverse transportation modes such as air and sea charters, breakbulk, heavy lift, and out-of-gauge shipments. The position drives business growth by creating innovative logistics solutions tailored to complex industrial projects worldwide. The Global Industrial Project Commercial Director collaborates closely with regional teams, clients, and carriers, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations that meet profitability targets, comply with international regulations, and deliver exceptional service excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Design and implement comprehensive project cargo growth strategies worldwide
Lead efforts to secure major contracts by managing client pipelines and collaborating on complex tenders, pricing frameworks, and vendor relationships
Cultivate enduring partnerships with key clients, EPC contractors, and strategic stakeholders
Oversee end-to-end coordination of project cargo shipments ensuring safe, timely, and cost-efficient deliveries
Manage multimodal logistics operations including charters, breakbulk shipments, heavy-lift vessels, and specialized transport equipment
Collaborate cross-functionally with global operations, carriers, and service providers to identify and resolve operational risks
Serve as authoritative expert on project logistics and heavy-lift cargo movements
Foster integrated solutions by bridging air, ocean, and land transport teams
Develop robust pricing models for charter and project cargo services
Take ownership of financial outcomes, rigorously monitoring cost control, forecasting, and performance metrics
Deliver comprehensive reports on revenue, margins, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction trends
Identify operational and commercial risks associated with oversized and multimodal cargo shipments
Ensure strict adherence to international shipping laws, safety protocols, and trade regulations
Lead initiatives to maintain the highest standards of operational integrity
Enhance project cargo expertise through targeted training programs, mentoring, and sharing best practices

Requirements:
15 to 20 years of distinguished experience managing and growing project cargo operations across multiple regions including GCC, MENAT, China, Africa, South Asia, and the United States
Proven success in leading large-scale logistics projects, negotiating significant contracts, and directing multidisciplinary teams
A strong academic foundation in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or related disciplines
Expertise in air and sea charter operations, heavy lift handling, and multimodal transportation logistics
Strategic outlook focused on commercial growth, operational excellence, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance
