Job Description

The Global HRIS Lead will be the owner and strategic lead for BambooHR (BHR) across the organization’s global workforce – with regional focuses in US/Territories (US), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe (EU), Africa (AF) and Latin American (LATAM). This role will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and scaling BHR to support core HR operations, data accuracy, reporting, and compliance across multiple countries. This role will partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Workforce Management, and external vendors to ensure BambooHR is fully leveraged, well-integrated, and aligned with business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the global system owner for BHR, including configuration, governance, and ongoing optimization
  • Assist in establishing global standards for HR data, processes, and system usage
  • Responsible for BHR manuals creation and updates
  • Configure and maintain BHR modules (employee records, onboarding, time-off, performance, reporting, etc.) in conjunction with regional HR leads
  • Translate HR and business requirements into scalable BHR solutions
  • Manage system upgrades, feature releases, testing, and deployments
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Manage integrations between BambooHR and payroll, benefits, ATS, finance, and other third-party systems
  • Support regular requests from local Recruitment teams needs in ATS
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all regions
  • Own HR data governance, validation, and audit processes
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and standard/global reports
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and employment regulations (e.g., GDPR and local labor laws)
  • Support audits and ad hoc reporting requests from leadership
  • Lead global HRIS projects, including new country rollouts, acquisitions, and system enhancements
  • Act as the primary point of contact with BHR and integration vendors

Requirements

  • 4+ years of HRIS experience, including hands-on HR systems administration
  • Experience supporting multi-country or globally distributed workforces
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes
  • Experience managing system integrations and vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of global BHR HRIS experience
  • Experience scaling BHR in a high-growth or global environment
  • Exposure to global payroll and benefits integrations
