Job Responsibility

  • Lead a global team of direct, commission-based sales professionals to deliver against sales targets
  • Develop and implement the strategic and tactical sales and marketing plan in close collaboration with the Global and Regional Heads of Relationship Management and other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with generalist Relationship Managers to position the Sustainable Finance offering as a key differentiator
  • Develop and execute extensive outreach programs targeting issuers, intermediaries, local industry associations, and other financial market stakeholders (with an expectation to spend approximately 30% of time meeting customers globally)
  • Analyze and understand the key underlying dynamics of sustainable and transition finance across different regions
  • Work proactively with the Product Management team on product needs, ideas, and concepts, and identify business opportunities for new product development through market and customer engagement
  • Partner with marketing and product strategy teams to drive marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to improve sales enablement and operational efficiency
  • Act as a speaker or facilitator at expert panels during internal and external meetings and conferences
  • Drive continuous service improvement with a focus on revenue generation and customer retention

  • Proven track record of sustained sales success, including driving accelerated growth, consistently exceeding ambitious commercial targets, and scaling revenue across complex, multi region environments
  • Exceptional ability to build, deepen, and sustain trusted relationships with senior decision makers, including C suite executives, boards, issuers, intermediaries, and key market influencers
  • Comprehensive understanding of global debt capital markets and the broader financial ecosystem, including credit markets, issuer behavior, market structure, competitive dynamics, and evolving regulatory and investor expectations
  • Strong domain expertise in Sustainable Finance

  • Own and drive implementation and maintenance of the operational risk management framework including: policies, standards, technology and tools, monitoring and governance for Global Markets end-to-end inclusive of product control and business execution / Markets Operations
  • Review and agree with 1LOD the Appetite or Tolerance levels for Operational Risk categories together with the key indicators and thresholds for warning and breach
  • Ensure that Ops Risk for the Business (and country/business/LV, as applicable) is managed to defined Risk Appetite or Tolerance levels. In case risk levels are in potential and/or actual breach of defined thresholds, ensure risk exposure is well understood and there is a robust Path to Green to avert/remediate breach within an acceptable time frame
  • Review and confirm appropriateness and adequacy of first line risk identification, assessments (i.e. KMORs, MCA (RCSA), scenario analyses, third party reviews)
  • Where necessary, conduct independent second line operational risk assessments (e.g., reviewing control design and effectiveness of key processes, end-to-end deep dives of significant control breaks that impact multiple risk categories, lessons learned and near misses) and root cause assessments
  • Create aggregated risk profile for the Business using a combination of first line and independent second line assessments
  • Evaluate the quality and execution of the Business control design and effectiveness assessments and drive business efforts as needed to strengthen risk management, controls and other risk mitigation efforts
