Job Description:

Senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs. The role drives applications systems analysis and programming activities for Fund Middle Office Technology development.

Job Responsibility:

Define, champion, and execute the strategic technology roadmap for the Fund Middle Office
Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse and globally distributed team of software engineers
Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
Drive the design and development of system architecture
Oversee the end-to-end development, implementation, and support of proprietary and vendor platforms
Partner closely with Product Development, Operations, and Business stakeholders
Represent the technology team in client-facing discussions
Stay abreast of the latest developments in post-trade services and investment management industry trends

Requirements:

15+ years of relevant experience
8+ years of People Management experience
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology initiatives and delivering complex software solutions
Extensive experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies
Technical proficiency in Modern Programming Languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go)
Deep understanding and practical experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures
Strong knowledge of Database technologies (e.g., SQL and NoSQL) and Data Warehousing principles
Familiarity with Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
Comprehensive understanding of Fund Middle Office and post trade services
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Proven experience integrating and leveraging AI/ML models and frameworks in production environments
Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the investment management industry
