Job Description
Citi seeks a highly accomplished and driven senior vice president to lead its Global Critical Supplier Program. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape and optimize Citi's engagement with its most strategically important suppliers, driving value and mitigating risk across the enterprise. This position reports to the Head of Supplier Oversight, and is part of the Procurement and Third Party Management team.
Job Responsibility
define, implement, and oversee the comprehensive program designed to minimize risk and maximize value derived from Citi's critical suppliers
cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, business heads, and oversight executives within both Citi and its critical supplier organizations
proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with critical suppliers, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
drive continuous improvement in supplier performance through robust metrics, performance reviews, and collaborative action plans
lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
oversee the program budget, ensuring responsible resource allocation and maximizing return on investment
partner effectively with various internal stakeholders, including risk management, performance management, legal, compliance, and business units, to ensure seamless program execution and alignment with overall organizational objectives
ensure program adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies, proactively engaging with internal and external auditors
Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or a related field
proven ability to lead and manage complex programs with enterprise-wide impact
exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience engaging with senior executives
strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively
deep understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements
bachelor’s/university degree or equivalent experience
