Job Description

The Global Governance Manager supports the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of Werfen’s global corporate governance framework. This role contributes to ensuring alignment between ethics, culture, and operational accountability across the organization. Responsibilities include coordinating compliance governance activities, supporting tone‑from‑the‑top/middle initiatives, assisting with culture assessments, maintaining governance structures, and supporting board‑level reporting. This role partners closely with senior leaders, compliance and legal teams, people teams, and other key stakeholders globally. The Global Governance Manager assists assists in defining governance metrics, monitoring risk‑related activities, supporting digital controls oversight, and driving consistency through training, communication, and certification efforts.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law, Compliance, Ethics, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in governance, ethics, or compliance, including in global/regional roles
  • Deep understanding of governance models, enterprise ethics programs, risk assessment, and organizational culture dynamics
  • Strong writing, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and engage employees across cultural and functional boundaries
  • Experience working with senior leaders and governance bodies
  • Familiarity with digital compliance tools and data-based decision making
  • Full professional proficiency in English
