Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Global Finance Controller to lead and manage financial operations across international business units. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, driving financial planning, and enhancing reporting accuracy while supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a dynamic approach to finance leadership and demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced, global environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee global accounting operations, including consolidation, reporting, and compliance with financial regulations
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in alignment with international standards
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies across all regions
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic goals
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage global audits, ensuring adherence to international tax regulations and engaging with external advisors
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations and automation projects
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support pricing, costing, and commercial strategies
  • Evaluate risks and implement proactive measures to maintain financial stability and achieve targets
  • Support merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence and integration efforts

Requirements

  • 15+ years of post-qualification experience, with significant exposure to the biotech industry
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations for global businesses
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • CPA certification is required
  • Experience with month-end close processes and financial audits
  • Background in working with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and finance transformation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead international teams and collaborate across functions
