Job Description

This role supports Fagron’s global sustainability ambitions, leading the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives and ensuring correct ESG data across all regions. As Global ESG Controller, you will be the central link connecting the Global ESG team, regional and local operations, and the leadership, ensuring the professionalization of our ESG data, reporting, and governance across all Fagron locations. Your work will be vital to realizing our global sustainability targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Optimize, implement, and oversee global ESG control frameworks and processes to guarantee accurate, timely, and compliant data collection and reporting
  • Identify and evaluate global ESG risks and opportunities, supporting the creation and monitoring of action plans to reduce environmental impact, enhance social responsibility, and strengthen governance
  • Further develop and further automate the ESG reporting structure
  • Supervise the consolidation and validation of ESG data from all production facilities and warehouses globally, ensuring data quality for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Train and mentor regional and local teams, building ESG awareness and competence throughout the organization
  • Coordinate periodic ESG reports (non-financial information) including the annual report
  • Maintain contact with external auditors and coordinate the non-financial annual audit
  • Prepare non financial data requirements for external stakeholders (or from banks)

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 year work experience
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (sustainability, finance or accounting)
  • Familiar with ESG frameworks, global reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, GRI), and international regulatory requirements
  • Experience developing and implementing ESG policies, processes, and internal controls at a global scale
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with ESG data
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

Experience delivering training and support to international teams on ESG topics is an advantage
