The compliance function is evolving the Global Financial Intelligence Unit and SARs Oversight Team into a proactive intelligence unit. This is a new specialist intelligence leadership role. The candidate will be centrally involved in establishing new capabilities across all aspects of the intelligence cycle including intelligence collection, intelligence analysis, intelligence development and intelligence assessment.

Lead the intelligence capability development for the Global FIU and SARs Oversight Team

Requirements
minimum of 20 years of specialist intelligence experience
formal specialist training in intelligence collection, and extensive experience in intelligence collection work as both a practitioner and senior leader
formal specialist training in intelligence investigations, and extensive experience as both a practitioner and leader
formal specialist training in intelligence assessment, and extensive experience as both a practitioner and senior leader
proven experience of successfully leading large intelligence teams under challenging circumstances, including high risk environments and situations
proven experience of successfully delivering projects and programmes relating to intelligence work and capability building
experience of working in a senior intelligence role in partnership with law enforcement organisations in multiple jurisdictions, including extensively overseas
