Are you a seasoned Customs expert with experience in traffic coordination and logistics ready to make an impact! We’re looking for a global customs & trade compliance logistics coordinator to join a dynamic team at a well-established aerospace company. Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures export shipments meet customs and trade regulations for Canada and international destinations (U.S., Europe, LATAM, Asia Pacific, Middle East)
  • Maintains compliant export documentation—including commercial invoices, export declarations, and certificates of origin—and monitors regulatory changes
  • Conducts documentation reviews and audits to maintain accuracy and consistency in export files
  • Determines correct HS codes for new products by reviewing technical details and using validated customs resources such as CBSA, CBP, and TARIC
  • Maintains the company’s HS code database and ensures accurate classification across all export documents
  • Evaluates export shipments for eligibility under trade agreements (CUSMA/USMCA, CETA, CPTPP)
  • Applies rules of origin, prepares certificates of origin, and manages record retention
  • Supports duty reduction opportunities for international customers and strengthens pricing competitiveness
  • Prepares and validates export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, and certificates of origin
  • Works closely with customs brokers and government agencies to resolve documentation or clearance issues and ensure timely, compliant global shipments
  • Coordinates international shipments across air, ocean, road, and courier transport modes
  • Manages bookings, prepares logistics documents, tracks shipments end-to-end, and proactively solves transit or clearance issues
  • Supports continuous improvement across global logistics operations

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English and French to communicate with customers outside of Quebec
  • 5+ years in customs compliance, international logistics, or global trade
  • Strong knowledge of HS classification (especially for new products)
  • Understanding trade agreements such as CUSMA/USMCA, CETA, CPTPP
  • Familiarity with Canadian export regulations and international customs requirements
  • Solid understanding of Incoterms and export processes
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with brokers, careers, and internal teams

Nice to have:

  • CCS certification or related credentials (asset)
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to help build a strong Customs & Compliance function
