The Coverage Analyst role will primarily provide junior support for both the Senior Country Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Crédit Agricole’s Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB) – Sydney Branch. This includes the preparation of managerial and strategy presentations to senior leadership, while also supporting the implementation of ongoing transformational projects within the Branch. The role will also include support of both the Head of Corporate and Financial Institution Coverage, involving the preparation of internal and external business and client related presentations, portfolio management duties and write-up of related documents.
Job Responsibility:
Support work on strategic projects and business development initiatives of CACIB Australia branch
Coordinate implementation of projects with relevant local and/or regional/HO teams on behalf of the SCO & COO and under their guidance
Follow-up client revenues and profitability for Australia, prepare ad-hoc analysis
Prepare various presentations to both internal and external interlocutors
Assist Senior Coverage Bankers to manage a diversified corporate and financial institution client portfolio in Australia and New Zealand
Support the Coverage Bankers on client relationship portfolio monitoring and client marketing initiatives
Assist local senior management on various ad-hoc projects, as required
Junior support to team head / coverage bankers
Assist with the preparation of financial, regulatory, management and Head Office reporting requirements, as requested
Maintain an effective working relationship within the team and across the bank including the promotion of a cooperative and team-oriented work environment
During your assignment you may help project finance team on daily basis – presentations, analysis etc.
Requirements:
Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent
Master's degree in Finance
0-2 years of minimal experience
Good communication and ability to multi-task – essential
Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel spreadsheet abilities – essential
Highly organized, pro-active, fast learner and curious – essential
Basic / developing knowledge of corporate banking business divisions and product suite – i.e. Corporate & Leveraged Finance
