Job Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Global Commodity Manager to lead and manage supply chain sub-categories, drive sourcing strategies, negotiate complex agreements, and ensure supplier performance. The role requires expertise in procurement, advanced cost modeling, and supplier management processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads a complex individual supply chain sub-category

  • develops and utilizes supply chain and financial modeling tools
  • leads supplier selection activities
  • negotiates and completes contracts with complex suppliers
  • provides input on risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies
  • supports end-to-end sourcing and NPI materials escalation
  • ensures contract compliance with suppliers
  • advises senior level business leaders on contract risk areas.

Requirements

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience
  • advanced university degree preferred
  • typically 6-10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain function with strong thermal knowledge
  • experienced in drafting contract solutions in known contract risk areas to obtain acceptable outcomes with limited supervision
  • strategic sourcing
  • ability to develop and execute global sourcing strategies
  • align commodity plans with company financial, sustainability, and innovation goals
  • lead complex negotiations and manage commercial agreements
  • execute geo-diversification and dual-sourcing strategies
  • manage the full lifecycle RFQ execution, cost modeling, value analysis, and supplier performance reviews
  • mastery in English and local language.
