We are seeking an experienced Cisco ACI specialist to provide expert-level operational support for global data centre network environments. This role sits within Network Operations and acts as a key escalation point for complex incidents, ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience of Cisco ACI-based infrastructure. The role operates in a real-time, 24x7 environment and requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving capability, and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert operational support for Cisco ACI data centre environments, ensuring service availability on a 24x7 basis
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-severity incidents related to Cisco ACI fabric, including tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, VLANs, VXLAN, COOP, VPC, and L3Out
Configure, operate, and maintain Cisco ACI fabric using APIC controllers and Nexus 9000 spine–leaf architecture
Perform lifecycle management activities such as upgrades, patching, and failover testing
Monitor fabric health and performance using APIC dashboards, SNMP, syslog, packet capture, and automation tools
Conduct detailed root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Ansible to support operational efficiency
Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures
Participate in change management processes with a focus on risk mitigation
Work with vendors for escalation and resolution of hardware and software issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support onboarding, optimisation, and operational excellence
Requirements:

An experienced network professional with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI and data centre networking
Proficient in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts within Cisco ACI environments
Experienced with Nexus 9000 ACI switches and APIC controllers
Comfortable working in high-pressure operational environments with critical service impact
Skilled in incident management, root cause analysis, and change management
Familiar with automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs
Knowledgeable in integrating security technologies such as firewalls and load balancers with ACI
A clear communicator who documents effectively and shares knowledge with peers
Holds or is working towards relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Cisco Data Centre / ACI certifications
