Job Description

The Global Business Finance Services Accountant is responsible for various financial tasks related to statutory accounting, audit compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial information and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with the finance team and other stakeholders to support our financial operations on a regional scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and reports to auditors
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Analyze financial data, provide insights to management for decision-making purposes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain the annual budgeting process
  • Analyze budget submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in statutory accounting, audit compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required
