Oticon Medical BAHS develops advanced bone-anchored hearing systems, including implants, sound processors, software, and surgical tools. We are a global leader in hearing solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Audiological Trainer to join our international team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your audiology expertise with a passion for education and global collaboration. You will play a key role in training internal teams and external professionals, while serving as a subject matter expert in audiology for product education, content development, and complex customer support. In this role, you will work with global training & support team around the world to shape the onboarding, continuous education, and launch training efforts to come.
Job Responsibility:
Design and deliver training programs for product launches, onboarding, and ongoing education for staff and customers globally
Act as a global subject matter expert in audiology, guiding theory and clinical application for bone-anchored hearing systems
Collaborate with the global training & support team to develop high-quality materials and digital learning resources that meet both short- and long-term organizational needs
Provide expert support for complex customer cases requiring deep audiological knowledge
Represent Oticon Medical at international conferences, workshops, and training events
Travel extensively to deliver training and support worldwide
Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in Audiology (or equivalent clinical background)
10+ years of experience in audiology, ideally with implantable or bone-anchored hearing systems
Strong commercial acumen and a drive to support patients and clinicians
sales experience in hearing aids is valued
Proven experience in training and education, preferably in a global context
Excellent communication and presentation skills
ability to engage diverse audiences and senior stakeholders
Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced international environment
Willingness to travel extensively
University degree in Audiology
Experience working in a clinical setting
Worked in the hearing aid industry
Preferably have knowledge of bone-anchored hearing systems
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Comfortable presenting to senior clinicians and decision-makers and delivering scientific lectures at industry events
While you can be based anywhere in Europe, proximity to our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, is an advantage
You must be willing and able to travel extensively (often more than once per month) and sometimes on short notice
Nice to have:
Sales experience in hearing healthcare
Additional languages are a plus
