Job Description:

We are looking for you as Global Assembly Engineer to strengthen our Global Production Engineering Team at our site in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. Within SIG, SIG allCap AG is responsible for the worldwide production of innovative plastic closures for carton beverage packaging. Production takes place in large series.

Job Responsibility:

  • Specification, Planning and sourcing of assembly and test systems in collaboration with the global Project Team, R&D, Purchasing, SCM and Quality Management
  • Carrying out design reviews and progress checks
  • Planning, execution and documentation of FATs and SATs
  • Supporting the production facilities on site during system startup
  • On-site training of operating and maintenance personnel
  • Planning and implementation of maintenance and servicing measures
  • Site responsibility as 'Engineer in Charge'. This includes supporting the site with technical matters as well as spare parts management
  • Reaching specified KPI`s, taking ownership and initiating continuous improvement of the system

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering studies or technician education in the field of automation
  • 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Sound knowledge in the field of special machine construction and image processing systems
  • Experience in the training of operating and maintenance personnel
  • High service orientation and 'hands-on mentality'
  • Experience with assignments abroad, travel activity approx. 25%
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
